All formulas in our Tallow Collection are made with Fat Brothers 100% Grass Fed Beef Suet Tallow, chosen for its natural purity, nutrient rich character, and careful preparation. Tallow is the foundation of these products, so the quality of the tallow we use matters deeply.

We chose Fat Brothers tallow because it is made only from 100% beef suet, the premium kidney fat traditionally valued for its mild scent, clean feel, and nutrient rich profile. This selective source helps create a tallow that is naturally mild in aroma, rich in skin loving lipids, and well suited for skincare.

Fat Brothers tallow is minimally processed and not chemically treated or hydrogenated, preserving its natural color, texture, and beneficial properties. You may notice that our tallow based products have a beautiful golden glow and a naturally soft texture. The golden color comes from beta carotene, a natural precursor to Vitamin A, along with other nutrients naturally present from a grass fed diet. Rather than being a flaw, this golden tone is one of the natural characteristics that makes high quality grass fed tallow so recognizable.

You may also notice slight graininess or natural separation from time to time. This is completely normal when working with real, carefully rendered tallow. Natural texture changes can happen, especially during shipping or warmer temperatures. Not to worry, the product is still perfectly fine to use.
