Organic Castor Oil forms Volana’s rich botanical foundation. Dense, glossy, and deeply conditioning, castor oil gives the serum its substantial texture and slow, deliberate glide across the skin. Rich in ricinoleic acid, along with other skin-conditioning fatty acids, castor oil creates a heavy, nourishing base with a concentrated botanical feel. Its density gives Volana weight, richness, and a smooth cushion that supports its restorative character.
Fractionated Coconut Oil keeps Volana’s carrier profile exceptionally clear while refining the heavier castor base with a lighter, silkier glide. Nearly colorless and neutral in aroma, it allows Volana’s visible botanicals to take center stage while improving spreadability and leaving the finished serum smooth, polished, and comfortable on the skin.
Organic Lavender Essential Oil is the aromatic soul of Volana. This serum intentionally contains nutrient-rich plant oils that behave more like fresh fruit rather than heavily preserved synthetic alternatives. We prioritize potency and purity over indefinite shelf life. The result is a more effective, skin-compatible oil, provided it is used while still fresh.
To prevent spoilage and oxidation, store in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly closed. Discard if the scent turns flat, metallic, rancid, or otherwise off. Discard if the color changes unexpectedly or if the oil becomes unusually thick, sticky, cloudy, or otherwise changes in appearance or texture.
Botanical Note
This formula contains real botanical powder included for infusion, cosmetic character, and visual appeal. Shake gently before use to create natural movement through the oil; as the powder settles, it forms a concentrated botanical layer at the bottom of the bottle, giving the serum its evolving color, texture, and visual character. Store upright between uses and avoid getting concentrated sediment on clothing or other textiles, as natural botanicals may stain. The powder is not intended to collect around or pass through the roller ball, as buildup may interfere with smooth, even application. Once the oil has been used, discard the remaining botanical material.
Directions for Use
Make Volana part of your evening routine. Apply the serum to clean skin on the face, neck, chest, hands, or anywhere the skin needs concentrated moisture and renewal. Roll gently across dry, stressed, or depleted areas and massage with the rollerball while applying the serum. For the full aromatic experience, apply to the wrists, sides of the neck, or other pulse points and allow the lavender, frankincense, and vanilla aroma to accompany relaxation, tantric meditation, quiet reflection, or preparation for sleep.
